Little Flock-The Cadiz UMC has a Fresh Expression of church at the Lake Barkley Plantation called Little Flock. Each Wednesday afternoon a devotion is offered for the residents as well. Once a month the V-Team leads singing at the Plantation for the residents on Tuesday morning. Little Flock is an extension of the ministry of the Cadiz UMC.

One Friday a month volunteers from the Cadiz UMC goes to The Way to provide food for the youth. The Way is a ministry dedicated to the youth of Trigg County and is located behind the Trigg County school complex. The Way is open to youth after school throughout the week as a safe place to gather and features all sorts of activities and services.

Bible Studies-Throughout the year Cadiz UMC offers weekly Bible Studies other than Sunday School. These studies usually meet on the campus and are open to anyone who would like to attend.  Currently on Monday evenings a study called Disciple is being offered though May.  Disciple is an intensive study through the entire Bible that takes many months to complete.  Each Wednesday evening at 6:15 pm following the Wednesday evening meal a mid-week study is offered for anyone who would like to attend. Currently the study is on the book of Revelation. This study is usually led by Dr. Scott Wilson. There are other studies throughout the year at various time and days of the week.

Music-There are a couple of opportunities for people to get involved in the music programs at the Cadiz UMC.  The choir is led by Vicki Godwin and is a part of the 9 am Traditional Service. The choir is open to anyone who like to sing and they practice on Wednesday nights at 6 pm. Anyone interested in the Choir can come to practice or call the church office.

The Cadiz UMC Praise Team is another opportunity for musically talented people to participate at Cadiz UMC.  The Praise Team also practices at 6 pm on Wednesday evenings and leads the Contemporary worship service at 11 am. The praise team is currently looking for people to join the team who play the piano or guitar or other musical instruments. Anyone interested in the Praise Team can come to practice or call the church.

CYS Soccer-Cadiz UMC hosts a children’s soccer league in the Spring and Fall. Information concerning this ministry can be found on the website or by calling the church office.

Pre-Prom Dinner-Each year on the day of the Trigg County High School Prom the Cadiz UMC offers a Pre-Prom Dinner for the students attending the prom. Any Trigg County student attending the prom is welcome to come and enjoy a wonderful meal and a very elegant environment. The cost is $5 per person which covers the meal and a professional photograph. Any student interested in attending can sign-up at the church or contact the church office.

Prayer Team-Every Tuesday morning a group of people gather at the church to pray for the needs that are shared through Sunday School classes and the prayer sheets tuned in during worship. This team will pray for the request and send a card letting the person know that they have been prayed for. Prayer requests can be given through the office or by filling out a request and placing it in the offering plate.

Prayer Shawl Ministry-A group of ladies gather monthly to provide prayer shawls for anyone in need. The prayer shawls are prayed over as they are made and available to anyone who would like to receive one. They are a reminder of the love and grace of God for those struggling with illness or other physical, spiritual, or emotional issues. Anyone who would like to receive as prayer shawl or who knows of one who would like one can contact the church officer.

V Team-The V Team is a group of people who go to the various nursing homes and assisted living facilities once a week and leads them in singing. This ministry is open to anyone who would like to share some joy and love to those in the community living in these facilities. They meet on Tuesday mornings and go to the various locations. Anyone wishing to be a part of this ministry can contact the church office.
