This class is for children ages 3 – 4 and uses Cokesbury’s Deep Blue material.  The focus of this class is to begin laying a foundation for youngsters in their knowledge, love, and relationship with Jesus Christ while presenting lessons in a fun and age-appropriate manner. Teachers are Susan Garland and Andrea McAtee.

Primary Class(K-2nd Grade)

The primary class uses the Cokesbury Deep Blue material while also supplementing with various lessons that engage students in hands-on activities that help them learn and grow in a developing relationship with God. Teachers are Carmen Finley and Laura Mowen. Jean Renkin also leads a Children’s Handbell Ministry with this age group.

Intermediate Class (3rd-5th Grade)

The intermediate class uses the Cokesbury’s Deep Blue material.  Our purpose is to lay a solid foundation of teaching, nurturing, and love in which each child will be able to build a life that is pleasing to God.  The laughs and giggles are a bonus. Teachers are Chrisi Ethridge and Catherine Humphries.

Middle School & High School (6th-12th Grade)

Learning who they are in Christ on a deeper level and use Cokesbury’s Deep Blue material.  This class participates in group discussions, games, and Bible teachings in order to strengthen their relationship with Christ and grow in their faith in Him. The middle school class is taught by Heather Gibson, and the high school class is taught by Kendra Redd, our Youth Director.

Adult Classes

BASIC (Brothers & Sisters in Christ)

Comprised of all ages. The class is led by several members on a rotational basis and uses a variety of Adult Bible Studies literature.  The BASIC Class usually has a social gathering once a month (i.e., potluck dinners, bowling party, swimming party).  Each Christmas, the class hosts a dinner for Special Singles of the church.

Wesley Class

A mixed group of couples and adults.  The format is studying the life of Christ directly from the Scriptures with lively and open discussion and focused prayer time for concerns.  This class is taught by Rev. Jamus Redd, Asst. Pastor

LLL (Love, Loyalty, & Leadership)

Formed from members of the former Wesley Fellowship Class in 1959, at the same time the congregation was moving to the new church at the present location.  If there were to be an additional “L” added to the class, it would stand for Laughter, as this is a FUN class!  The class consists of a good mix of Native Trigg County folks and “Transplants” from other locations.
